Join us to learn the fundamentals of Strength & Conditioning (S&C).
This workshop is ideal for anyone currently coaching rugby or looking to start a coaching journey. Strength and conditioning plays a vital role in developing and producing high-level athletes, and when applied correctly, it can significantly improve performance and reduce injury risk.
During the workshop, Kayleen Dreyer will cover the basics of S&C and introduce practical methods such as effective warm-up and cool-down techniques—many of which are currently not correctly applied in schools.
Kayleen is a former rugby player turned Strength & Conditioning Coach, holding over eight specialised qualifications in the field. She is passionate about highlighting the importance of strength and conditioning, particularly at a fundamental level, and lives by the motto “Serve the athlete.”
Kayleen is currently the Strength & Conditioning Coach for the Border Rugby Union.
